We are proud to have worked with De La Salle College and the Malta Chess Federation to provide team uniforms for their boys representing Malta at the World Schools Team Chess Championships in Washington D.C., USA.
Background
Sarah from De La Salle College and the Malta Chess Federation approached Garmmo with an urgent request. The team needed high-quality uniforms within just two weeks, and even earlier for a smaller local tournament scheduled the weekend before their international departure.
This tight timeframe required careful planning and swift action to ensure the uniforms were delivered on time and up to the highest standards.
Our Solution
Understanding the urgency and importance of the project, our team prioritized the order. Every step, from garment selection to logo printing and final delivery, was carefully managed to maintain quality and punctuality. We ensured that the uniforms met both functional and visual expectations, helping the team look professional and confident.

Outcome
- Full order completed and delivered within 2 weeks
- Early delivery for the weekend event
- High-quality garments and precise logo application
- Excellent client satisfaction
- Strengthened trust and reputation in supporting youth sports initiatives
Client Testimonial
“We had a great experience with Garmmo, and a special thanks to Jennifer for her help throughout the process! From the moment we chose the garments for our boys’ team uniforms for an international chess tournament, she was responsive and made sure everything stayed on track. The quality of the garments and the printing of the logos were perfect. We’re very happy with the results and would definitely recommend Garmmo for any similar projects!”

About the Team
De La Salle College participated with 3 teams in the popular Chess Interschools Qualifiers held last April, with over 50 teams and more than 160 students taking part. Two of their teams ended in the top six places, qualifying for the finals.
The finals were held as part of the 1st Malta School Games, organised by the Ministry for Education, Research & Innovation in collaboration with SportMalta, the Malta Olympic Committee (MOC), and the Malta Schools Sports Federations (MSSF).
De La Salle College won the Competition with a perfect score, earning the right to represent Malta in the World Schools Team Chess Championships. The participating team members are Gabriel Gauci, Gabriel Grech, Benjamin Calleja Falzon, Matthew Callus, and Luke Micallef Trigona, accompanied by Captain and Coach Duncan Vella from the Malta Chess Federation.
The tournament consists of 8 rapid-format rounds (45 minutes +10 sec increment per player), with 4 players competing in each round using alternative colours. For most of the team, this is their first international competition, and they are training hard to represent Malta proudly.
A big thank you to the sponsors who made this journey possible: Visit Malta, Falzon’s Bathrooms & Ceramics, GasanMamo Insurance, Frank Salt Real Estate, Sahha by Mark Morales, and Commserv.
We are thrilled to have supported this talented team, providing custom, high-quality uniforms that help them look and feel confident while representing Malta on the world stage. 🇲🇹
