As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for various tasks, including managing cash transactions, serving customers, maintaining inventory, and addressing customer inquiries and concerns. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle cash responsibilities, including processing transactions, giving accurate change, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
  • Serve customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, ensuring their needs are met and they have a positive shopping experience.
  • Manage inventory by restocking shelves, organising products, and conducting regular stock taking activities.
  • Answer customer questions, provide product information, and address concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
