Responsibilities:
- Increasing sales and profitability: Implement effective sales strategies, promotions, and merchandising to drive business growth.
- Staff management: Oversee staff performance, training, and development through clear goal-setting, feedback, and coaching.
- Store operations: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the shop by managing inventory, cash flow, security, and health and safety.
- Reporting and communication: Conduct regular staff meetings and provide insightful reports to senior managers on sales, operations, and customer feedback.
Requirements:
- Previous retail management experience: Ideally in a similar role or industry.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented mindset: Approach tasks with positivity and a focus on enhancing the customer experience.
- Ability to work under pressure: Multitask effectively and solve problems efficiently.
- Willingness to learn: Adapt to new skills and stay informed on changing market trends.
- Proficiency in Maltese language is preferred.
